I had the honor of designing a poster for the Buena Vista Orchestra’s concert at Paradiso. Working for such an iconic group was inspiring, as this orchestra continues the legacy of the legendary Buena Vista Social Club, one of the greatest Cuban music projects of all time.
Originating in Havana, the original group introduced the world to the rich traditions of Cuban music. Their landmark 1997 album, Buena Vista Social Club, became a global sensation, earning a Grammy Award. Their music has sold over 50 million albums worldwide: an extraordinary achievement for a project so deeply rooted in Cuban tradition.
