Together with Evi Hogervorst, we both made three illustrations for Cross Arts that was exhibited in an art maze called ’SPEEL!’ and opened on the 19th of August (2023) in Breda. The illustrations are inspired by, on an old game called ‘Het Maliespel’ which is a variation of cricket, the abduction of Maurits van Nassau and how their dinners where served in that time.
In SPEEL! you would find art installations, a green maze and lots of cultural activities. Through art you will discover more about the fascinating world of plants, the absurd life of the Nassau family, but you can also be active: there were activities such as film, theater, music, yoga etc. More information about the project here or here
